About Our Club

Welcome:

Thanks for your interest in MOMS (MOMS Offering Moms Support) Club! Our chapter is very open to new members. In fact, you probably won’t be the only new person. We are growing month to month. Although some of us have lived here for years, some of us are new to the area or new to MOMS Club. We all have one thing in common- MOMS Club introduced us to other moms like us...moms who became our friends!

About our Chapter:
We are a non-profit support group for stay-at-home moms or moms that work part time. Some of our activities include a monthly recipe exchange, park days, smaller playgroups, monthly “field trips/activities” for the kids, and a Moms Night Out (our only non-kid event). We are also involved in community projects to benefit Chandler families and children. (i.e. donations, fundraisers, volunteer work)

Meetings:
All of our meetings and almost all activities are during the day, when at-home mothers need the support. Activities take place at public venues (such as a local park, restaurant, or stores) and others are hosted by members in their homes (such as recipe exchanges and play dates).

Bring your child(ren):
Our only non-child event is our monthly MNO (Moms Night Out). Otherwise, children are expected and encouraged to come! You don’t have to bring your child(ren) to attend an event, but if you do please remember that you are responsible for their safety and behavior. Sometimes, a member volunteer may watch the children (such as at the Monthly Business Meeting), but most of the time we are all together, mothers and children.

Dues:
As part of the International MOMS Club, we do have a membership fee of $25.00. This fee is due each year the same month as the month you join the club. You may attend two public events before deciding to become a member. We understand that being an at-home mom may mean a tight budget for your family. If the dues would be a hardship, please talk to one of your board members.

Wild Card Activity

Minus the wind the other morning, we had a fun time with the kids at the San Tan splash pad and play area. We then enjoyed lunch in the food court and some of us got some great shopping deals.

Moms Night Out

Eight of us had a fun time at Creative Hands Pottery Studio. We can't wait to see what the pieces look like next Friday when we get them back!

Family Activity Night

What a fun time we all had at Bounce Jungle. The kids enjoyed running around, screaming, and getting very sweaty while the parents either joined in, played with the babies, or caught up with other families. It was a fun family night that ended with pizza and a few kids not wanting to leave!

September Business Meeting

We had a fun business meeting on Wednesday. Dr. Saks came for the second half and talked to us about "Healthy Moms, Healthy Children, and Healthy families." While the moms were busy in one room the kiddos were having a blast in the nursery. They enjoyed a movie on firetrucks, playing with the toys, running around, and snack time.

MOMS Club State Luncheon

Lonna, Laura, and Yvonne attended the yearly State Luncheon in Scottsdale this Saturday. Over 100 women attended from various clubs all over the state. They arrived at 9:30am and had fun setting up the display the whole Board worked on. This years theme was "Mommy Boot Camp" so the ladies went all out with it!

Thanks to the clubs many donations from our members we received the 1st Runner Up Award for Best Basket. Way to go group!!! The ladies learned a lot when each position broke up into groups and from other club members throughout the state. They came back with lots of fun ideas and a few changes that will be taking place soon. Below are some pictures from the fun day. They walked away at 3:30pm with 4 Club awards, Yvonne with two Mommy Awards, and Laura with a basket.
