About Our Club

Welcome:

Thanks for your interest in MOMS (MOMS Offering Moms Support) Club! Our chapter is very open to new members. In fact, you probably won’t be the only new person. We are growing month to month. Although some of us have lived here for years, some of us are new to the area or new to MOMS Club. We all have one thing in common- MOMS Club introduced us to other moms like us...moms who became our friends!

About our Chapter:
We are a non-profit support group for stay-at-home moms or moms that work part time. Some of our activities include a monthly recipe exchange, park days, smaller playgroups, monthly “field trips/activities” for the kids, and a Moms Night Out (our only non-kid event). We are also involved in community projects to benefit Chandler families and children. (i.e. donations, fundraisers, volunteer work)

Meetings:
All of our meetings and almost all activities are during the day, when at-home mothers need the support. Activities take place at public venues (such as a local park, restaurant, or stores) and others are hosted by members in their homes (such as recipe exchanges and play dates).

Bring your child(ren):
Our only non-child event is our monthly MNO (Moms Night Out). Otherwise, children are expected and encouraged to come! You don’t have to bring your child(ren) to attend an event, but if you do please remember that you are responsible for their safety and behavior. Sometimes, a member volunteer may watch the children (such as at the Monthly Business Meeting), but most of the time we are all together, mothers and children.

Dues:
As part of the International MOMS Club, we do have a membership fee of $25.00. This fee is due each year the same month as the month you join the club. You may attend two public events before deciding to become a member. We understand that being an at-home mom may mean a tight budget for your family. If the dues would be a hardship, please talk to one of your board members.

Kid's Activity Day at CPK

What a fun time we had at California Pizza Kitchen. The kids got to make their own pizzas, take a tour, and learn some pizza facts. We had a great tour guide named Dominica. Really hope to do this activity again as it was such a hit.

New Board Installation Night

What a fun time we all had on Friday night saying goodbye to the old board members and hello to the new ones. Thank you so much for a wonderful year ladies! The club wouldn't exist if you didn't step up to help lead the group. Congrats to the new board. We know it will be a great year for all the moms and kids. Thank you also to all the coordinators this last year. You planned so many fun gatherings, outings, field trips and activities.

This month we met up at Carl's Jr. with the kids. They had a great deal for kids meals that day and the little boys enjoyed the Spider Man theme and acting out being super heroes.

NICU Cookies

At our May business meeting we put together 101 boxes of cookies for an early Mother's Day treat. This is our 6th year making/buying cookies for the Cardon Children's NICU and Postpartum center. We hope that the staff and families at the NICU enjoyed their special treats as much as we enjoyed putting them together.

MNO Dinner and a Movie

We had a great night together for Moms Night Out. Some came for dinner, some for the movie and some for both. 13 of us enjoyed a yummy dinner at Abuelo's Mexican Restaurant. Afterwards 10 of us met up to see the movie The Lucky One. It was a great night out and we can't wait to do it again!
