About Our Club

Welcome:
Thanks for your interest in MOMS (MOMS Offering Moms Support) Club! Our chapter is very open to new members. In fact, you probably won’t be the only new person. We are growing month to month. Although some of us have lived here for years, some of us are new to the area or new to MOMS Club. We all have one thing in common- MOMS Club introduced us to other moms like us...moms who became our friends!

About our Chapter:
We are a non-profit support group for stay-at-home moms or moms that work part time. Some of our activities include a monthly recipe exchange, park days, smaller playgroups, monthly “field trips/activities” for the kids, and a Moms Night Out (our only non-kid event). We are also involved in community projects to benefit Chandler families and children. (i.e. donations, fundraisers, volunteer work)

Meetings:
All of our meetings and almost all activities are during the day, when at-home mothers need the support. Activities take place at public venues (such as a local park, restaurant, or stores) and others are hosted by members in their homes (such as recipe exchanges and play dates).

Bring your child(ren):
Our only non-child event is our monthly MNO (Moms Night Out). Otherwise, children are expected and encouraged to come! You don’t have to bring your child(ren) to attend an event, but if you do please remember that you are responsible for their safety and behavior. Sometimes, a member volunteer may watch the children (such as at the Monthly Business Meeting), but most of the time we are all together, mothers and children.

Dues:
As part of the International MOMS Club, we do have a membership fee of $25.00. This fee is due each year the same month as the month you join the club. You may attend two public events before deciding to become a member. We understand that being an at-home mom may mean a tight budget for your family. If the dues would be a hardship, please talk to one of your board members.

Service Project at Merrill Gardens

We had a fun hour at the Merrill Gardens Nursing Home for our service project. We have gone to visit in our Halloween costumes for the past few years. The kids had fun meeting the residence and getting candy after their parade. The residences "oohed" and "aahed" and had a few laughs watching the kids running around.

Family Activity Day

The October Family Activity Day took place at the communities big gathering called the "Chandler Playdate" at Tumbleweed Park. The families had a fun time running from one activity to the next!

New Member Coffee

We had a packed house the other day for the Club's New Member Coffee. Since January 2008 we have 11 new members. As you can see we had a fun morning getting together, having some delicious coffee drinks, eating food, and watching the kids play.

Recipe Exchange and Park Day

Mystery Mansion Dinner Theater

Four moms had an interesting Moms Night Out on Saturday. The location and set up of the theater was a let down, but we laughed a ton and enjoyed a very late meal. Laura nominated Yvonne to be in the fashion show which was hilarious. The four had a fun night together but didn't crack the case!

October Business Meeting

We had an amazing turn out at this months meeting. We voted on some things, passed out the fun November calendar, and had two raffle winners. We then joined the kids in making some fun Halloween crafts and playtime. Marshmallows anyone? :)

Wild Card Activity

Minus the wind the other morning, we had a fun time with the kids at the San Tan splash pad and play area. We then enjoyed lunch in the food court and some of us got some great shopping deals.
